The Portland Business Forum offers two unique and convenient solutions to help you grow your business
FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS, the Portland Business Forum has provided a unique opportunity for business owners and managers to continue their business education while creating a supportive environment in which to build their companies through networking. To meet the demands of busy professionals, we offer two different opportunities for involvement: the weekly breakfast forum and the quarterly evening forum.
Weekly breakfasts
Are you looking for a good source of referrals for your business? Would you like to meet others who have learned how to build their companies through successful networking? If so, we invite you to check out the next weekly breakfast meeting of the Portland Business Forum. The weekly forum meets every Wednesday, 7:30-8:30 a.m., at Hayden’s Lakefront Grill, 8187 Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road, Tualatin.
We use this time to refer business to each other, talk about current projects, listen to a guest speaker, and update our members on developments affecting the business climate. As a networking organization, the weekly forum needs members who are committed to building business through referrals. We’re looking for people who are seeking new clients and are willing to commit to regular attendance at a weekly breakfast. Membership in the weekly forum is by application and is limited to one representative per occupation. PBF encourages prospective members to attend at least three weekly meetings prior to submitting an application for membership.
In addition to networking and referrals, we also help our members resolve problems. Our monthly “round table” sessions give members a chance to share how they tackle some of their most difficult business issues. These discussions are provocative and enlightening, always with one purpose: to help each other improve the way we do business. Quarterly dinners If a weekly breakfast meeting doesn’t fit your schedule, we invite you to attend our quarterly evening events.
Evening forums feature a guest speaker who will address issues of long-range importance to business owners and managers. There are no membership requirements and the evening forums are open to everyone, regardless of occupation.
